First of all, I am thankful to Allah, the Almighty God for permitting the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) to organize this Fifth Biennial Event, ‘FV Malaysia 2015’.

The purpose of the event is to challenge the student, especially automotive engineering student in conceiving,designing, fabrication and competing as a team of their self-developed F1 style racing cars. During a series of static and dynamic test, the student could demonstrate their understanding and test the performance of the vehicles.
Besides that, it is also an event to improve the students’ ability in being analytical and technical in skills, specifically where creative problem solving and team working are concerned.
It is hoped that this event will contribute to the unique learning experiences to the student as promoted by Ministry of Education and also provide an excellent opportunity to inspire and develop creative and innovative minds which will contribute positively towards achieving Vision 2020.
